Seven years after their 'deaths', Gale Asher (reporter) and Ripley Gaines (archaeologist) are being hunted down with a vengeance. A clue surfaces that Taz (one of the Foundation members) believes is viable enough to launch the beginning of a relentless search. In the blurb for this book, it says that the 5 Cosega mysteries must be solved, stop the final Divinations and their daughter, Cira, must be saved. So, the global adventure begins with stops in Fiji, Hawaii, El Perdido (off coast of Central America), NSA HQ in Maryland and Mexico - to name some of the stops along the way.'Ex Spheriences' are indeed apparent as Gale mentions early in the book. I would like to add there are 'In Spheriencies' and 'Mid Spheriences' as well. The reader must think about the massive amount of technology included, Two examples are the Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory (LIGO) and the Eysen Anomaly Matter Interference (EAMI). The imagery is truly amazing and I am still thinking about the city of lights which to me is fascinating, as well.
The writing style of this author is flawless and flows smoothly from the beginning to the end. The characters are well developed, action is intense and the plot is undeniably rich with a superlative ending. I don't very often think about a book when I have finished reading it. This one I finished a couple of days ago and it is still floating through my head.
All in all, just an excellent book and one which I would most highly recommend to others. Mysteries, action, adventure with the dimension of time tossed in for that added extra item!
Most highly recommended.

Cosega Sphere A Booker Thriller The Cosega Sequence Book 4 edition by Brandt Legg Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I am writing this for the four books as a group. They are written as a thriller. While they are that, they are so much more. Legg is willing to look at everything from metaphysics to quantum mechanics in a way that tends to tie it all together. I felt that religion in a harsh way, it made sense given the premise of the story. Glad I read it.
Getting ready to start The Librarian and it's trilogy. This last volume of Cosega Sphere was absolutely awesome and a wonderful read. I recommend it to all those avid readers out there. You will not be disappointed. Go for it. You will not be able to put them down once you begin.
I've read all 4 Cosega books, all were great reads. Lots of SF suspense with many eventful sequences. This being book 4 brings an unexpected end but very fitting. The author is to be commended, his story telling is excellent. I will continue to read his books till I read them all!
A great what if story. A lot of scenes were reminiscent of the old Flash Gordon movies where Flash was certain too die but something would save him in the end every time. The chase went on through 4 books. The final book overlooked one obvious answer to the whole problem that started in that volume. It might have seemed like a cop out, but I would have been satisfied with it if had been done right.
Still, this is a really fun story that is engaging to read. All the characters are likable and hateable, I really kept me turning the pages!
Brandt Legg is an insightful and great techno-thriller author. Right up there with Issac Isamov. All 4 of the Cosega Sequence books make you feel like it's something that could actually happen given the world news of today. Reading the last Librarian now (a continuation of the Cosega Sequence) and it's just as thrilling.
COSEGA SPHERE (volume 4) picks up seven years after COSEGA SHIFT (volume 3) left off, and from here it takes time for a spin. One idea is the different progression of time for different characters “You found us in your past, but our past is your future.” The characters work tirelessly, even under dangerous conditions, to figure out the five Cosega mysteries what is the Sphere, who were the Cosegans, where did they come from, why did they leave the sphere, and what happened to them. When spheres clash, they work to return them to their pre-merging state. They wish to “bend the future into something survivable, maybe even something good.”
Some of these ‘time-shifts’ are inspired, perhaps, by the author’s observation on his own life (at the end of the book) noting that, “This year, time stopped… and began again.” Perhaps time, as depicted in the story—“The future is a fragile place”—obtained its intensity from personal trials, as art mirrors life.
I love the prophetic vision, the hope to create a place where, ”we live together… as citizens of earth, as creators of reality,” acting towards the possibilities they can achieve, even the impossible.
Five stars.
Cosega Sphere (The Cosega Sequence Book 4) by Author Brandt Legg
Author Brandt Legg is one great author! I am hooked on his style of writing and look forward to more of his compelling and suspenseful books in the future.
I very much enjoyed the Cosega Sequence. I read all four books one after the other and I am sorry to discover that Cosega Sphere is the last book in this series. I don't want the saga to end. The "good guys" are extremely likable and although the genre is Science Fiction, there are many facets of the plot that ring true as far as what the world is like today. The frightening threat of WWIII is one such possibility.
If only, we could learn from our past, we may very well be able to alter the future. The Eysen holds the key to doing just that but the powers that be must utilize the necessary brain power to prevent the destruction of the human race. Now Rip Gaines learns that there is more than one Eysen. Savina, who works for the enemy has one in her possession. Can they work in tandem along with the top scientists in the world to find a solution? Will Crying Man be able to help?
